Calura Jazzophon
This curious little instrument appeared on eBay described as a Calura tin Jazzophon saxophone. The seller said the following about this toy instrument:
I’m not sure of its age. It is complete, and not bent or beat up. Silver color and some surface rust. I did not do any cleaning to this item as not to remove any of the original color and aged patina.

Because the photos are rather small, I can’t make out anything other than the name Calura, so I can’t be sure of the spelling of Jazzophon, or for that matter, where the name is even imprinted on the toy. However, this instrument bears a resemblance to both the Sirenephone and the Luxophone which came from Germany. What is interesting though, is that both of these instruments have the letter “e” at the end of their name. In German, this “e” would indicate the plural. For example, saxophone in German would be spelled Saxophon, while the plural would be Saxophone.
It is possible that this little Jazzophon is European in origin. As a matter of fact, it very likely is.
